Job Summary
We seek a scientist whose research program investigates how to dissect host-microbiome interactions broadly across disease states. Potential research areas include (but are not limited to) investigating how the microbiome modulates host responses to infection/vaccination, cancer immunotherapy, neuro-inflammation, aging, and drug/alcohol abuse.

MIMG faculty ( http://microbiology.med.uky.edu/ ) have developed strong program in microbial pathogenesis and immunology and are currently building a microbiome interest group. The department has an excellent collaborative atmosphere and strong ties with various centers in the Medical Center and other Colleges.
