As the Training and Development Specialist, you will:
- Design, create, and maintain training materials including instructor lead trainings, e-Learning materials, and videos.
- Assess training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, focus groups, or consultation with managers, instructors, or customer representatives.
- Facilitate courses in person and online.
- Contribute to the planning, design, and implementation of company curricula and stand-alone education and/or training needs by assessing the defined learning objectives.
- Work independently and within a team of cross functional professionals dedicated to successful implementation of projects.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships to support the training and development process including negotiating needs and deliverables and providing advice and direction on projects.
- Provide input and suggest recommendations from a user-centered design perspective, ensuring the learners' needs are met.
- Travel Expectations: 50% to our plants in Wisconsin, Nebraska, Minnesota, South Dakota, Ohio, and Illinois.

- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, Education, or other business field.
- Minimum of 2 years curriculum design.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience training in a corporate environment.
- Must be willing and able to travel 50% to our plants in Wisconsin, Nebraska, Minnesota, South Dakota, Ohio, and Illinois.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong preference towards food manufacturing/processing.
- Experience in video creation and production.
- Ability to effectively communicate (speak, read, write) in Spanish strongly preferred.
- Strong computer skills including experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), Windows-based PCs, and solid working knowledge or Microsoft Office.
