Looking for a change of pace from the high stress atmosphere of a manufacturing plant and wanting to use your skills to help others improve? This may be the position for you! The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of industrial environmental, health and safety regulations and demonstrated success in implementing them in a manufacturing setting. The position provides the opportunity for the candidate to work with many different clients in a wide variety of manufacturing and service industries. The candidate must also be detail oriented, with strong organizational skills, as well as exemplary written and verbal communication skills.

Essential responsibilities may include:
- Evaluating applicability and application of relevant environmental, health and safety regulations to situations at client sites
- Conducting on-site EH&S audits
- Assisting clients in the development and implementation of written health and safety programs
- Performing industrial hygiene sampling
- SPCC/SWPPP development and implementation support
- Providing training to client employees on topics such as emergency response, Haz Com, LOTO, DOT HazMat and other related safety issues
- Occasional work at client sites on a temporary basis to support their ongoing EH&S needs when they are between permanent internal resources
- Air/water permitting and compliance reporting
- Investigating and developing reports on incidents/accidents that may occur at client sites
- Evaluating health and safety risks associated with new chemicals proposed for client sites and recommend appropriate control measures
- Assisting in the development of solutions to complex technical and regulatory issues, including violation resolution
- Auditing environmental, health & safety management systems, such as ISO 14001, ISO 45001, etc.
General job expectations:
- Manage a variety of tasks to achieve scope, budget and schedule targets while ensuring we meet and exceed our clients' expectations on deliverables
- Work with the EHS project team to effectively implement assignments for clients
- Build client relationships and nurture repeat business by continuously striving to exceed their expectations
- Expand and grow personal technical competencies in related EH&S topics
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in environmental, health and safety or relevant engineering or science fields
- Minimum of 3 years of environmental, health and safety experience in a manufacturing or consulting environment
- Solid understanding of the relevant local, state and federal regulations and how they apply to specific industries
- Ability to navigate complex relationships with clients, regulators and other stakeholders
- Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, CHMM, etc. are a plus
- Autonomous, able to manage complexity inherent in a dynamic, high-growth environment
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Exemplary organizational, written and verbal communication skills is a must
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments concurrently
- Must be proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship, now or in the future
- Availability to travel to client sites for day or overnight engagements
