Possible Duty Stations (all in California): Arcata, Davis, Redding, or Riverside.

Responsibilities: We seek to fill a full-time, permanent position for a research landscape ecologist capable of addressing questions concerning forest vertebrates in California.  The scientist will be an integral part of research teams comprised of scientists, professionals, technicians, and administrative staff.  Research expertise of the applicant may be on species, populations, communities and/or ecosystem level questions, but the successful applicant will demonstrate an interest in, and the ability to, advance knowledge of how vertebrate populations of special concern respond to combined changes in climate, habitat, and human use of resources.  Experience in modeling relevant to the research questions above and/or evaluation of monitoring data collected on vertebrate species at risk will be particularly valued.
