The Department of Biology at Bradley University invites applications for an Instructor/ Assistant Professor In-Residence beginning August 2022.
A Ph.D. or M.S. in Biology or a related field is required. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to teaching courses in anatomy and physiology in the undergraduate curriculum in both lecture and laboratory settings. Other teaching responsibilities may include general education courses.
Applicants must be committed to undergraduate teaching for a diverse student population, emphasizing active learning and personalized attention in a liberal arts and sciences setting. Preference will be given to candidates with prior teaching experience at the undergraduate level. As part of the Department of Biology, the successful candidate will also be encouraged to participate in service activities. This position is not tenure-track, but the successful candidate will be considered for renewal, pending performance and availability of funds.
