As the Environmental Specialist, you'll be responsible for monitoring and maintaining environmental compliance at the Factory. You'll inspect and evaluate workplace environments, equipment, tools, and practices to ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations.

As the Environmental Specialist, you'll be responsible for monitoring and maintaining environmental compliance at the Factory. You'll inspect and evaluate workplace environments, equipment, tools, and practices to ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversees all hazardous waste management activities in compliance with divisional standards
- Liaison with local and regional regulatory officials
- Prepares and files permit applications
- Coordinates in house inspections of facility environmental features as required by permits, plans, and regulations
- Identifies facility projects requiring action re: St. Louis projects, environmental issues, reviews projects with NPE, manages activities accordingly to ensure compliance
- Ensures that monitoring and recordkeeping requirements of environmental permits and shipments are met
- Ensures that spill and pollution prevention plan requirements including monitoring, inspections, recordkeeping, and training are met
Basic Requirements:
- Associates Degree and 3+ years' experience in environmental compliance or related field
- Bachelor's Degree and 1+ years' experience in environmental compliance or related field
