Comprised of scientists across multiple disciplines, we are responsible for the biology and translational science required to support drug development from target identification through proof-of-concept (POC) studies in cancer patients.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scientist/Senior Scientist in cellular and molecular immunology who can provide technical leadership in designing and conducting experiments to drive advancement of early therapeutic targets as well as supporting drug development for cancer immunotherapy specifically in the areas of innate and adaptive tumor biology. The individual will be part of a dynamic and matrixed research team responsible for supporting all aspects of drug discovery and development.

This position will have an emphasis on generating relevant data for selection of clinical candidates and will also include early target discovery, validation, and mechanism of action studies for preclinical and clinical development. The successful candidate will be heavily involved in the design, execution and analysis of in vitro and in vivo efficacy studies in mouse tumor models. In addition, the successful candidate will perform various functional immunoassays to screen and characterize therapeutic candidates of both large and small molecule formats and work with cell lines and freshly isolated human tissue and blood cells.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Designing and executing experiments using murine and human primary immune cells
  • Developing novel assays to characterize activity of candidate therapeutics
  • Immune profiling of cultured immune cells, lymph tissues and tumor infiltrating leukocytes using multi-parametric FACS
  • Analyzing and presenting scientific results to team meetings
  • Working in a collaborative team environment
  • Potentially include managerial responsibilities for 1-2 junior RAs depending upon prior experience

Requirements:
  • PhD with 2+ years of postdoctoral or industry experience in the fields of immunology, oncology, molecular biology or biochemistry
  • BS/MS with 5+ years of work experience in immunology and/or immuno-oncology
  • Expertise in cellular and molecular immunology and functional assay development
