Job Responsibilities
The incumbent will perform environmental work to support Johnson Space Center (JSC). Such work requires: (1) The application of professional knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques of environmental sciences concerned with facilities and systems for controlling pollution and protecting quality of resources and the environment, and (2) An understanding of and the ability to utilize pertinent aspects of chemistry that pertain to the control or elimination of pollutants. Assists the other media leads for air, water, EMS, Sustainability programs. Participates as an emergency spill responder on a rotational basis. Must possess excellent technical writing skills as well as exceptional communication skills. Must demonstrate problem solving and analytical skills

Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Geology, Hydrogeology, Biology, etc.
- 1-2 years of related work experience

- Prior experience in environmental projects
- Proficiency in water quality and chemistry
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Understanding technical drawings
- Prior technical writing experience
