Regulatory Analyst #1 ID: B2110565DC-001 Location: Washington Program: BLM Wage/Hr: $50.00 Hours/Week: 24 Minimum Age: 55 ? This position supports the Bureau of Land Management Office of Policy and Regulatory Affairs and may be performed remotely. ? The BLM Experienced Services Program is a unique partnership created to help solve the workforce issues facing government agencies. The program connects experienced workers (age 55+) to the BLM to provide scientific, technical, and administrative support. ? BLM ESP positions are meant to provide temporary, project-based support. This position is currently funded for an estimate of 26 weeks. ? A background security investigation may be required prior to the start date. Only those positions with 30+ hours per week are eligible for health insurance benefits; all positions will accrue sick leave. ? The experienced workers participating in the Program are referred to as ?Enrollees? and are not employees of the BLM or NOWCC. NOWCC is the ESP non-governmental organization responsible for administrative aspects of the program, and the Enrollees work under BLM direction to assist the Agency staff in carrying out their mission. BLM ESP Enrollees benefit from the opportunity to keep technical skills current; to access new training opportunities; to engage in gainful project-based positions; and to undertake meaningful tasks using their experience and talent to contribute to the environment, the national economy, and their own financial security. Qualifications: Minimum of 15 year(s) of experience in Regulatory Affairs or related experience. OR BA/BS Degree in Resource Management, life or biological sciences, Business Administration or related. Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel MS PowerPoint, MS Teams, MS SharePoint Duties: The enrollee will provide specialized analysis related to the Office of Policy & Regulatory Affairs in areas identified and assigned by the technical advisor. Reviewing, tracking and publishing of Federal Register notices and other legislative guidance. 50% Reviewing, tracking and planning for paperwork reduction act and other identified initiatives. 25% Internal and External Communication Coordination and support. 25% Other: Physical requirements: Primarily sedentary duties.
