The Analytical Operations Bioassays/Molecular Bio team is responsible for qualification, validation, and routine release and stability testing of gene therapy programs in a controlled laboratory environment. Within that framework, this position will offer the opportunity to work to optimize the processes used to improve lab efficiency and method performance, further ensuring the safety and efficacy of our products. Responsibilities * Execution of NGS and/or ddPCR assays * Assist in the experimental design and execution of optimization protocols, experiments, and reporting. * Maintain complete and accurate records of all experimental activities performed, including adherence to required laboratory documentation requirements. * Communicate findings to the immediate team and collaborative partners. * Contribute to maintaining a safe lab environment. * • Other related duties on assignment. Qualifications * Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in molecular biology, biology, bioengineering, biomedical science or a related field. * Completed at least two years of college education before beginning the internship. * Must be enrolled in school the semester following the internship. * Experience with PCR/ddPCR or NGS is preferred. * Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skillset. * Minimum 3.0 GPA. The level of this position will be based on the final candidate's qualifications.
