SunPower is seeking a Sr. Environmental Health & Safety Manager to grow their career in residential solar. Responsibilities

• Develops environmental, health and safety procedures for all areas of the company

• Conducts worksite inspections and on-the-job training

• Evaluates EHS performance and develops programs to drive improved EHS performance

• Develops and implements inspection policies and procedures, and a schedule of routine inspections

• Prepares and conducts EH&S training to cover workplace safety, environmental compliance and other relevant topics

• Monitors compliance with regulatory requirements

• Drafts inspection reports to document inspection findings

• Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field preferred

• Demonstrated experience developing safety programs, policies and training

• CSP or ASP certification preferred

• 8+ years of EHS management experience

• Demonstrated experience in sustainability programs, waste management and recycling

• Construction Safety Background

• Excellent communication including public speaking skills

• Detail oriented

• Management experience

• Solar Safety Background preferred

• OSHA 30 Certified - recommended

• Knows Rooftop / Fall Protection protocols

• Flexible in Travel - 50 - 75% travel

• Support company initiatives for contact tracing

• Covid Vaccination / boosters required

Physical Requirements

• Physically able to conduct inspections and carry equipment used for inspections.

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time
