Scientist, B-cell Biology

My client is an innovative small biotech in the Bay Area developing next-generation biologics and cell therapies using a proprietary B-cell engineering platform. They raised a substantial Series A and are working on lead programs scheduled to enter the clinic in 2023. This person would join their team to support discovery and preclinical development, including using insights into B-cell Biology to give strategic input on potential pipeline programs. The position will be mostly bench-based, but with high impact across the company and rapid growth potential.

Requirements:

• PhD in Immunology, Cell Biology or related field
• Must have expertise in B-cell biology, such as B-cell signaling, transduction, etc.
• Experience with biologics or cell therapies is a plus.
• Prior work with in vivo animal models and rodent handling.
• Desire to be in a collaborative, fast-paced small biotech environment.
