EPD was created to assist clients through the complex regulatory and interdisciplinary process required to bring projects to fruition in the most thoughtful manner. It takes a team of experts in each discipline that can navigate the entire process of what is required before you start. Planning, entitlement, and environmental expertise should not be independent processes. Each of these disciplines affects the outcome of a project and the cost to completion. Planning sets the stage for entitlement and it is influenced by environmental conditions and requirements.

EPD's success is in its holistic approach in understanding that planning, entitlement and environmental services cannot be thought of in separate silos. EPD works with its private and public sector clients to meet the overall objectives of each project, while supporting the economic, environmental sustainability and long-term objectives of all stakeholders. We provide an integrated approach to environmental analysis and regulatory compliance, land use planning, and entitlement services.

We are looking for an extraordinary person to contribute as a team member in physical, environmental and policy planning and project management responsibilities but will also participate in all aspects of the company's functions. This position requires a person who is willing to learn, and in so doing is not fearful of accepting new roles and responsibilities to seek solutions to complex issues and achieve desired project goals. The ideal candidate can work independently, demonstrates reliability, pro-activeness, and strong communication, organization and task management techniques. A good candidate also maintains professionalism in the face of deadlines.

Applicants must have knowledge of CEQA, 3+ years of physical, environmental or policy planning experience and reside in Southern California, within a commutable distance to Irvine.

Generous health care and retirement benefits are offered.

Not accepting applications from candidates who reside outside of California.
