An environmental planning and consulting firm has an open position for a Remote Staff Environmental Planner.
Core Responsibilities Include:
Supporting business line growth objective
Assisting teams by providing technical assistance for the preparation of key aspects of regulatory documents
Providing expertise and support to SWCA project managers on medium-to-complex projects
Qualifications for this position include:
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in environmental planning, environmental science, biology, environmental science, natural resource management, planning, geology, or another science-related field
A working knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations such as NEPA, Washington SEPA, the Clean Water Act (CWA), the Endangered Species Act (ESA), local land use ordinances, and the ability to support project preparation of plans to satisfy regulatory compliance
The ability and experience to review and interpret regulations at the federal, state, and local level
Experience with state and local permitting in Oregon, Washington, and/or Idaho
