Your Impact:
When it comes to environmental consulting, we're helping our clients protect our world's natural resources and bring a resilient approach to infrastructure, renewables, and restoration projects. As a biologist/ecologist/environmental scientist you will provide support and expertise in field biology, environmental compliance, permitting, restoration, and task leadership. You'll work as a member of a strong team to apply your particular focus and background in wetland, avian, botanical, and/or wildlife resources. You will bring your talents to support our challenging projects including linear infrastructure, environmental compliance on government facilities, and renewables development projects and as we strive to build a better tomorrow.
Based in Irvine, Los Angeles, or Riverside, CA or surrounding areas, you'll have the opportunity to perform both field and office work related to your particular expertise and work with our team's recognized experts in characterizing, evaluating, and minimizing proposed projects' effects on natural resources. Your work could include baseline rare plant surveys, environmental compliance, wetland delineations, habitat characterization, permitting, or protocol wildlife species surveys as appropriate to your background and interests.
You will have the opportunity to work on environmental compliance across large projects. You'll serve as a key team member building upon your experience, leading teams, and mentoring others. You'll be challenged as you support multiple projects, including renewable energy, dynamic energy, transportation, water, and sustainability and resilience projects.

Here's What You'll Need:
• Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Environmental Science, Ecology, or similar discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible work history in biology or similar experience.
• Experience leading or serving on teams of biologists assessing habitats for special status species and/or wetlands.
• Experience participating with resource and impact evaluations and endangered species consultations.
• Demonstrated experience with environmental compliance work and adherence to resource agency permitting.
• Ability to foster relationships with large project teams, client, client's contractors and regulatory agency staff.
• Ability to regularly travel and work in the field.
Ideally, You'll Also Have:
• Master's degree or other graduate degree is preferred
• Experience with preparation of state and federal resource agency permitting documents and other technical reports.
• Possession of a state [Scientific Collecting/MOU] or federal permit [10(a)1(A)] for listed species or Professional Wetland Scientist certification is preferred • Interest and experience with project management and preparing proposals.
• OSHA 10-hr Construction Safety Training and 40-hr Hazwoper Training
