What you'll do at Position Summary...What you'll do...Join the Environmental, Health and Safety Compliance Team in our pursuit to constantly improve our world class safety program. Reporting to the OSHA EHS Compliance Senior Director, you will support business strategies and engage in cross-functional efforts by identifying potential compliance risks and developing standards and controls to comply with OSHA regulations and create a safe and healthy work environment for our associates. This role is also highly involved in the response of OSHA complaints, inspections, and citations, as we work with the authorities to improve the implementation of safety controls in our facilities. This Senior Manager position is a critical thought-leadership role providing strategic and compliance advice to business leadership and other stakeholders.As a Senior Manager I, EHS-OSHA you will…Lead the design, improvement and implementation of relevant Occupational Health and Safety standards and controls to mitigate regulatory risks and reduce the risk of accidents for associatesCoordinate consultants and external resources in the execution of specific safety projectsBe a critical stakeholder and proactive participant in the assessment of risks and the development and implementation of controls for new business initiativesCoordinate OSHA regulatory contacts in our stores and clubs.
