Sr. Scientist I Large Molecule Merck -location Kenilworth, NJ Support of routine release/stability, in-process, and/or cell-line development testing Education: BS ( -i- 5yrs) or MS ( -i- 1yr) of relevant experience with analytical chemistry or biologics Requirements: Must have current cellular/ molecular biology and immunoassay experience Experience in analyzing biologics including monoclonal antibodies and/or other therapeutic proteins in one or more of the following techniques: ELISA (HCP, proA) and binding potency assay qPCR and basic molecular biology techniques (gel electrophoresis, etc.) High-throughput liquid handling system, e.g. Tecan, Bravo, etc. Analytical software including Softmax Pro, Empower, ChemStation Good documentation practices & utilization in electronic lab notebooks Sample submission & sample management Monitoring of controlled temperature units Qualifications This role may be subject to government and/or customer requirements regarding vaccination against COVID-19 that are more stringent than Parexel policy.
