Associate Director, Computational Biology (Predictive Sciences)

Opportunity to build and manage a team with one of the most exciting pre-IPO Biotechs in the US! You will be joining a company with deep resources, proven industry leaders, and other passionate scientists to support your strategy, team building, and support execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and manage a team of Ph.D. Scientists (1 direct report day with companies support to hire immediately)
• Strategize, support, oversee the development and implementation of predictive modeling approaches. (You will THRIVE and contribute immediately if you have worked with RNA structure, RNA function, RNA folding, and/or relevant projects)
• Oversee and perform computational analysis of our data.
• Drive discovery and development efforts in an interdisciplinary environment.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or related discipline.
• Competencies related to RNA Biology (RNA structure, RNA function, RNA folding preferred)
• Experience with machine learning applied to biological data
• Capacity to be a hands-on leader.
• Drug discovery experience in the field of RNA Therapeutics within industry or academy is preferred
