GHD Advisory has an exciting opportunity for TCFD Climate Risk, Senior Advisor. The Senior Advisor will lead the S&R+ESG teams capability for climate risk and TCFD (Task Force on Climate Related Financial Disclosures) related services. You will provide project leadership to guide successful consulting engagements for GHD Advisory and the broader GHD business related to climate risk and TCFD projects; bid, win and lead projects to assist clients in the design, implementation and optimization of their organizational response to the challenges and opportunities of climate change, climate resilience and adaptation and TCFD disclosures. This position can be based in most GHD office locations throughout North America.

Specific duties will include but are not limited to:
  • Support the S&R+ESG Executive Advisor(s) and Team Leaders to implement the growth strategy related to climate risk and TCFD as part of the GHD Advisory Strategic Sustainability and ESG practice.
  • Provide management consultancy leadership and assist with the delivery and management of Advisory projects and client relationships related to climate risk and TCFD.
  • Leverage existing relationships to support the growth of the Advisory Strategic Sustainability & ESG opportunities throughout North America and support the delivery of new and existing client opportunities.
  • Support the GHD Advisory Strategic Sustainability practice in North America so that we meet GHD's overall objectives in terms of financial performance, risk management and strategic development having regard to GHD's core values.
  • Assist in mentoring and coaching to develop Advisory Strategic Sustainability and ESG practice team members.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Relevant degree required (e.g., social/environmental sciences or engineering); Master's degree of MBA preferred. Undergraduate degree with project experience also accepted.
  • 10 - 15 years' experience in sustainability/ESG advisory services.
  • Working knowledge of Sustainability, Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG), risk and resilience
  • Ability to travel as required preferred.
  • Strong project management skills.
