*Duties/Responsibilities:*Plan, implement, and oversee the Butler Garden project. The Butler Garden was established at the UGA Veterinary Teaching Hospital in March 2020 through an estate gift by Betty Butler, an avid animal lover. The Garden honors the meaningful relationships with companion animals and those who care for them. Donors have the opportunity to purchase bricks, plaques, and pavers in honor and memory of special loved ones. This individual will oversee the implementation of organizing donor information and creating a map for internal-use purposes.

*Duties/Responsibilities:*Assist with development related events. Responsibilities may include: preparation prior to the event, setting up and breaking down. Assist with the UGA Pet Memorial program. Donors can make a gift in memory or honor of a special companion animal. This individual will assist in the preparation of letters sent to honorees informing them of this kind gesture.

*Position Summary:*Have the opportunity to join a passionate, dynamic team and advance the development efforts of the UGA College of Veterinary Medicine. The CVM Development & Alumni Relations office is seeking a highly-motivated individual to help implement and coordinate a variety of development activities for the college. Special projects include, but are not limited to: the creation of a donor map for the Butler Garden located at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, assisting with donor and alumni events, and writing grateful client stories from veterinary clients at the UGA Veterinary Teaching Hospital. This position reports to the Director of Annual Giving & Donor Relations.
