Responsibilities of the Scientist, NK Cell Biology:
- Develop and optimize assays pertaining to NK cells studies.
- Work with human and non-human animal cells to quantify responses.
- Utilize immunoassays and cytokine regulation assays.
- Analyze and interpret preclinical data from CROs.
- Perform target validation to implement other experimental designs.
- Actively research the latest literature on NK cell Biology and serve as expert subject matter to gene editing and immunology teams.
- Mentor and manage more junior associates as the team grows.
Requirements of the Scientist, NK Cell Biology:
- Ph.D life science related discipline with 3+ years' experience in drug development environment
- Must have experience with NK cell assays
- Hands on experience with immunoassays such as flow cytometry and ELISA
- Ability to develop novel assays pertaining to specific targets
- Strong communication and presentation skills for both internal and external parties.
- Ability to work cross functionally with other departments.
