Environmental Specialist (2103722)- Beaumont, TX

We are seeking a professional like you to be responsible for management and coordination of Environmental compliance at the Site level. In this role, you will ensure adherence to environmental laws, regulations and BASF Corporation requirements for the BASF Beaumont site. This position will maintain compliance with various BASF requirements and government regulatory requirements, mostly in the environmental field, but could expand to other fields as needed. This position also interacts with EHS experts and professionals who support all of BASF's North American sites and businesses.
This is an excellent opportunity for you to demonstrate your ability to effectively interact with corporate and site leadership, elected officials and regulatory agencies. You will also get to share your skills in detail orientation, organization, effective communication, coaching, strategic thinking, entrepreneurship, customer focus, innovation and collaboration. Although not required, any experience you may have with NSR permitting and other EPA program areas, NPDES, RCRA, PSD, NSPS, MACT, LDAR, RMP, SARA and CERCLA/EPCRA, and/or experience working with the EPA and TCEQ is advantageous.
Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent
