We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Scientist to join a team working on advancing the next wave of cancer therapeutics. The successful candidate will establish and run relevant in vivo tumor models to support novel tumor and stroma target identification as well as treatment and mechanism of action studies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in tumor biology, in vivo cancer modeling and/or immuno-oncology and experience with large-scale data mining and flow cytometry.

As a Scientist, a typical day may include the following:

- Develop and run novel murine tumor models to drive target identification/validation and to investigate combinatorial anti-tumor strategies

- Design, plan, and independently perform complex anti-tumor efficacy and mechanistic studies in mice including: cell culture, dosing (IV, SC, IP), and measuring tumors, as well as the dissection of tumors and immune organs for subsequent ex vivo analysis

- Analyze public and proprietary large-scale datasets in support of target identification/validation

- Design flow cytometry panels and perform FACS analysis on murine immune cells, tumors, and tissues

- Synthesize results across experiments and programs in presentations to colleagues and cross-functional teams

- Responsible for authoring documents to be published in patent applications, external conference posters, and journal articles

- Work successfully in cross-functional teams by contributing data and ideas

This role may be for you if:

- You possess demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate both written/oral

- You have a passion for science and want to use your skills to contribute to exciting projects

- You work productively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment and efficiently present her/his findings to internal teams

To be considered for this role, you must have a Ph.D, with a minimum of 3 years experience. We need an individual skilled in the design and implementation of murine in vivo tumor models. Ability to independently perform in vivo efficacy and mechanistic studies in both immunocompetent and immunocompromised mice, experience with hematological tumors a plus but not required. Skilled in biological data mining and its application to target biology. Skilled in design of FACS antibody panels and FACS and analysis of FACS data.
