What You Will Be Doing
  • Perform discovery research for upstream applications supporting gene delivery systems
  • Optimize viral purification utilizing FPLC
  • Implement upstream process development and scaleup for upstream purification, including filtration (TFF), chromatography, and fill/finish
  • Develop viral analytical methods
  • Create your own R&D projects and deadlines, taking ownership of projects on an independent basis
What You Need for this Position
  • MS/Ph.D. in Chemistry, Virology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering or relevant
  • Experience with upstream process development
  • HPLC, FPLC, and ideally molecular cloning experience
  • Background in method development and implementation
  • Ability to independently create own R&D projects and deadlines from the beginning, taking ownership and have a true entrepreneurial spirit
