- Perform discovery research for upstream applications supporting gene delivery systems
- Optimize viral purification utilizing FPLC
- Implement upstream process development and scaleup for upstream purification, including filtration (TFF), chromatography, and fill/finish
- Develop viral analytical methods
- Create your own R&D projects and deadlines, taking ownership of projects on an independent basis
- MS/Ph.D. in Chemistry, Virology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering or relevant
- Experience with upstream process development
- HPLC, FPLC, and ideally molecular cloning experience
- Background in method development and implementation
- Ability to independently create own R&D projects and deadlines from the beginning, taking ownership and have a true entrepreneurial spirit
