Responsibilities of the Scientist, Computational Biology:
- Design and conduct computational biology research to develop novel products that help treat autoimmune diseases
- Integrate and interrogate large, diverse datasets to develop strategies for gaining biological insights into and across various disease areas
- Apply deep knowledge of human biology, cell biology, immunology and therapeutic development to novel research problems quickly and creatively
- Develop and test hypotheses to accelerate and refine prioritization of candidate drug targets
- Work closely with the data science team to solve complex problems with strong biological intuition and an application-oriented mindset
- Maintain knowledge of latest scientific and technology advancements in field
- Succinctly communicate complex scientific concepts in high-quality documents and scientific publications
Requirements of the Scientist, Computational Biology:
- PhD in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or relevant fields
- 2+ years of relevant postdoctoral experience
- Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication skills in a collaborative environment
