As a leading nurse educator, Arizona College of Nursing offers students the opportunity to earn a bachelor's in nursing in 3 years or less with qualified transfer credits. Our quality nursing curriculum prepares students for an in-demand career to help communities overcome the chronic, well-known, and increasing nursing shortage. Through the execution of a targeted growth strategy, the college plans to meet the growing demand for nurses by launching campuses in markets where bachelor's prepared nurses are needed.

What You'll Do:
The National Manager of Gen Education Operations (NMGEO) reports to the National Director of Nursing Operations (NDNO). The NMGEO provides strategic leadership, administrative oversight, and the planning and designing of programs, services, and initiatives that foster the success, engagement, and retention of Gen Education (GE) students across the nursing campuses.
Essential Responsibilities:
Gathers information and needs from Deans of General Education (DOGE) and faculty Regularly communicates critical information, decisions, and policy changes back to DOGEs and faculty. Works virtually and on-site with DOGEs across all campuses to assist in addressing challenges and supporting new opportunities as the College expands. Works collaboratively with the National Ops and Academics teams to ensure effective integration of Core Nursing and GE policies and processes, and to model collaboration for the campus DONs and DOGEs. Supports DONs of new campuses regarding GE faculty hiring (faculty appropriateness) and orientation to GE academic policies. Assists with GE faculty onboarding with focus on quality, retention, and outcomes. Identifies DOGE development opportunities. Participates in the selection of DOGE candidates by interviewing final candidates and providing feedback to the selection panel with specific focus on job duty experience and capability. Actively and regularly assess and document policies and procedures to ensure clarity and consistency across campuses. Assesses GE outcomes across campuses, including retention, grade distribution, and course/faculty evaluations. Demonstrates a commitment to an inclusive and equitable environment for students, faculty, and staff that promotes a culture of diversity and belonging. Works closely with the Academic Affairs team to fulfill the College's institutional mission, purpose, and values Participates in and/or cooperates with various institutional committees for planning and execution of strategic college priorities. A Master's degree (doctorate preferred) from an accredited institution. Five years' combined teaching and administrative experience in higher education. Demonstrated growth with increasing responsibilities. Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build and maintain working relationships with colleagues across multiple campuses and time zones. Strong planning and execution skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills, planning and assessment skills, and the ability to lead in a collegial and highly participatory culture. Successful implementation of strategies that foster student success, retention, and engagement.
