Early Learning Program is looking for a full-time, lead teacher to provide high quality, comprehensive child development services to preschool children and their families. The successful applicant will plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans, ensure each family receives continued support, document child progress/activities/outcomes utilizing TSG, and other assessment tools, etc...
Additional performance standards include:
? Designs a developmentally appropriate learning environment for the purpose of providing individualized skill building opportunities for children three to five years old.
? Builds positive relationships with children.
? Plans guidance strategies for children that are individualized, consistent, and developmentally appropriate.
? Assists other personnel as requested.
Applicant MUST meet one of the following education requirements:
? An Associate or higher degree with the equivalent of 47 college quarter credits in early childhood education. These 47 credits may be included in the degree or in addition to the degree OR
? A valid Washington State teaching certificate with an endorsement in Early Childhood Education (Pre-K - Grade 3) or Early Childhood Special Education.
? Currently enrolled in an ECE certified program with a minimum of 12 credits for completion of an initial certificate.
Must have or be willing to immediately obtain upon hire the following:
- Cleared Portable Background Check from the Department of Early Learning
- Transcripts showing Early Childhood Education courses
- Current First Aid/CPR/Bloodborne Pathogen
- Proof of Measles Vaccine or Immunity required
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccine required
Salary depends on experience plus medical and vacation benefits.
