Position Summary:

The Senior Learning and Development Specialist will support and collaborate with the Talent Pathways and Learning team and other internal stakeholders to develop and deliver innovative high-impact learning content aligned with HealthPoint's strategic goals. This position is responsible for supporting the design, development, deployment, and measurement of our comprehensive learning and training solutions and programs to improve individual and group performance as well as to ensure effective learning and training content is built to target critical skills and behaviors that drive learners' success and meet business needs while integrating the HealthPoint culture throughout.

Your contribution to the team includes:
  • Perform skill gap analysis, curriculum creation, and develop and maintain annual learning plans.
  • Work with subject matter experts to identify the target audience's learning needs and develop effective and measurable learning paths.
  • Work collaboratively throughout the design and development process with supervisors, senior leadership, key stakeholders, and subject matter experts.
  • Partner closely with stakeholders to ensure specific business needs are met and learning strategies are aligned with learning deliverables for the program.
  • Collaborate with Supervisors, TM, SMEs, and senior leadership to obtain and assess course materials feedback, evaluate course effectiveness, and make changes to improve learning solutions.
  • Build job-contextual practice interactions such as role-plays, scenarios, or situational assessments, so audiences have the opportunity to practice what they learn.
  • Create learning solutions and appropriate supporting resources including but not limited to courses, assessments, job-aids, facilitator guides, workbooks, and systems learning.
  • Maintain and manage learning documentation, content library, and LMS platform.
  • Analyze and apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and learning design.
  • Facilitate various learning events.
  • Maintain good attendance, is punctual and works full scheduled shift is a condition of employment.
  • Demonstrate respectful, professional and appropriate behavior that supports a team-oriented work environment.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the mission, core values and goals of HealthPoint and its healthcare delivery including the ability to integrate values of justice, respect, compassion, excellence and stewardship into appropriate programs and services.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Additional contribution to the team includes:
  • Attend staff meetings, in-service meetings and participate in agency committees and task force activities as required.
  • Coordinates all logistical components of events/courses, including scheduling of spaces and equipment, printing materials, and assisting with pre and post set-ups; maintains ongoing communication with the owner of event/course.

Must have's you'll need to be successful:
  • Bachelor's degree and (5) five to (7) seven years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Learning Management System (LMS) knowledge preferred.
  • Proof of immunizations and/or immunity to: COVID-19, MMR (measles, mumps and rubella), Varicella, Annual Influenza, and TB are required for all employees. Additionally, if you work in a HealthPoint clinic, Hepatitis B. and Tdap (within last 10 years) are required. All immunizations are a condition of employment. Upon hire, employees must provide proof of their immunizations and/or immunity prior to starting or no later than their fifth (5) business day of employment.
