The Operations Manager will help us achieve that mission by overseeing current projects and being part of the strategic planning to find new ones. Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Create the roadmap for assembly & logistics to support our employees and create value for the customers
  • Develop/implementing safe workplace practices and QA/QC processes
  • Direct point of contact for customers
  • Identify gaps and develop/implement improvement strategies
  • Provide management with analyses and reports; responding to questions and requests based on that information
  • Hands-on involvement in development/implementation of standards to increase production levels through use of appropriate systems and/or processes, including task analysis and time studies and improved staff utilization.
  • Work closely with other Agency management and staff to assure consistent, high quality, and coordinated services to program participants and their families, primary caregivers, and other stakeholders
  • Adheres to all SOAR365 Employment Policies; all agency policies in governing safety, discrimination/harassment, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) and the agency's Human Rights plan
  • Effectively utilizes volunteers / interns in the business unit to achieve the mission of the organization while providing meaningful opportunities for the volunteer(s) / intern(s) to contribute in a manner they find rewarding
  • Other duties as may be assigned


Requirements and Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in Business or related field; a combination of experience/training/certifications may be considered in lieu of the degree
  • 3+ years relevant experience in managing a team in similar environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, spend extended time on production floor
  • Minimum travel: may be require visiting job sites, customers, or attend training/conferences.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to build a strong team and foster relationships with staff and customers
  • Strong organizational, problem solving, and people management skills
  • Excellent oral and written skills for positive and clear interactions with staff, employees, and customers
  • Strong computer and software skills (Microsoft suite of products); ability to learn new technology
  • Experience in delivering or enhancing ERP/MRP/WMS systems of quality products or services that had customer impact
  • Ability to develop and implement production methods related to improving quality and efficiency
  • Experience working with people with disabilities, as well as experience in company growth and/or pivoting to new markets are a plus
