AM LLC has an immediate opening for a full-time Training Specialist to support COVID-19 response programming in the Fort Lauderdale, FL School District. Candidates will work 50% remotely from home and 50% on-site throughout the School District.
  • Oversee Onboarding Training and Continuing Education program for project staff members, including instructional design and delivery of training.
  • Perform strategic planning and evaluation of project Training and Continuing Education programs in collaboration with the Knowledge Management Team.
  • Oversee content development for project training materials and documents, ensuring content is evidence-based and informed by best practices in adult learning methodologies.
  • Ensure that project training materials and documents developed are consistent with standards established by the Knowledge Management team and follow the Quality Assurance process.
  • Continuously evaluate, adapt, and update curriculum offerings for all project job roles to meet business needs.
  • Update existing training modules to comply with changes in federal, state and local guidelines and protocols for COVID-19.
  • Partner with supervisors, Quality Assurance and project managers to perform ongoing needs assessments and eliminate knowledge gaps.
  • Communicate project learning program progress, changes and evaluation results with the Knowledge Management Team.
  • Implement curriculum and course evaluation tools and use results to inform subsequent training development and delivery.
  • Assist with updates to protocol and workflows for learning.
  • Assist Training Program Coordinator with LMS related responsibilities.

Educational and Professional Requirements:
  • Master's degree in education or related field preferred
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5 years of training experience in a healthcare related field
  • 2 years of training program management
  • Supervisory experience required
  • Experience with online learning management systems required

General Requirements:
  • "Making Contact: A Training for COVID-19 Contact Tracers" (ASTHO) completed by date of hire
  • Experience planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating training programs
  • Experience within a healthcare setting
  • Ability to exhibit a professional, positive attitude
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members, internal and external stakeholders
  • Able to prioritize effectively and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail
  • Critical thinking and sound judgment required
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English

Technology Requirements:
  • Proficiency in using Google Suite
  • PC with Windows 10, or Mac with Mac OS 10.15 or newer
  • Antivirus Protection: Windows Defender and Windows Firewall, for Mac Antivirus Protection: Sophos
  • User provided home high-speed network connection
