The Senior Chemist Research and Development position requires an advanced understanding of chemistry chemical analyses. This position will focus on conducting


Required: M.S. in Chemistry or related field and a Ph.D. Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Science or equivalent.



Required: 1O+ years of experience in industrial chemistry.

Preferred: Experience focusing on intervention chemistries in the food processing industry.

POSITION REQUIREMENT(S): Specialized Skills/License/Certification

Required: Advanced knowledge of chemistry principles, research, and techniques, ability to work well on a team, high level of analytical skills. Strong independent worker with exceptional skills in writing and communication. Excellent analytical chemistry skills and experience with analytical equipment, including ICP, HPLC, IC, titrations, etc., including method development.

Preferred: Experience with creating in-depth lab reports and other technical documents. Experience with intervention chemistries in the food processing industry. Strong intuition for creation/development of new chemistries and applications.

CORE COMPETENCIES (Essential Job Functions)

Strengthening and leading the research and development projects in creating patented products. Provide support for QC testing on all Zeco products using chromatography, spectroscopy, or spectrophotometry techniques. Providing in-depth lab reports on projects and product development. Ability to work independently and also support a team environment. Maintaining laboratory and corporate records. Support sales efforts in the field or in the lab by performing requested analyses. Ensuring stability for a safe lab environment.
