Medical Lab Scientist, Blood Bank
Part Time, Night weekend rotation

The Medical Lab Scientist under general supervision, performs complex analyses on a variety of sample types, maintains proper records and utilizes independent judgment to generate quality test results. Blood Bank/Transfusion Medicine processes to assure that all transfusion related activities are conducted in the safest possible manner and meet or exceed all existing safety and regulatory requirements.

What You Need to Be Successful:
Proficient knowledge of clinical laboratory processes, analytical procedures, and various laboratory equipment including routine maintenance and calibration. Effective verbal and written communication skills. A Bachelor's degree and appropriate certification by a nationally recognized program, e.g. ASCP or equivalent is required.
