Job Description
The Greenhouse Technician/Cultivation Associate will work as part of a team of associates in our state of the art legal cannabis cultivation/production facility and will report to the Cultivation Manager. The associate will work to ensure the product quality meets Temescal Wellness' standards of production while continuing to improve the department as a whole. This requires communicating daily with supervisors, and reporting the status of each flower room. The cultivation associate will be supplied the right tools and training to grow within the cultivation team of Temescal Wellness. This position will demand vigilance and ambition all while expanding the individual's knowledge of cannabis cultivation in its entirety. We value candidates with a start-up / owner's mentality: individuals who don't mind rolling-up their sleeves and doing what it takes to make everything work because they know the future rewards are worthwhile. Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily room maintenance checks to ensure everything is operating correctly
  • Perform daily plant health checks to keep record of plant health through the growth cycle
  • Identify/spot and report: pests, poor plant health, nutrient deficiencies and toxicities
  • Environmental monitoring and reporting
  • Transplant vegetative plants into larger pots
  • Perform plant work in accordance with the needs of the production schedule
  • Maintain a clean working environment
  • Work with either vegetative or flowering cannabis plants daily
  • Harvest plants at the end of their growth cycle
  • Break down harvested plants for processing
  • Fill pots for transplant at the beginning of their growth cycle
  • Trellising benches during flowering cycle
  • Irrigation line installation and maintenance
  • Follow and execute the company's standard operating procedures

Key Requirements:
  • 1 plus years of greenhouse/horticultural/agricultural experience
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • High energy, enthusiasm and the willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done.

  • Ability to stand on hard surfaces for extended periods
  • Can physically lift up to, not exceeding, 50 lbs
  • Ability to work in high temperatures and humidities found in cultivation rooms

  • Familiarity with Massachusetts policies and regulations governing recreational/medical cannabis production

Work Hours:

The Cultivation Associate role is a full-time position. Employees will be expected to arrive for their shift starting at 7:00 am and fulfill their duties by the end of the workday at 3:30 pm for 5-day shift schedules and from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm for 4-day shift schedules.
