About the Team:

The Strategic Initiatives team at Industrious executes the Company's priorities and drives projects across teams. We've taken the company international, driven merger integrations, quarterbacked the company's response to COVID, and executed some of the company's most impactful initiatives. The team plays a critical role in defining and executing priorities for the company alongside executives and cross-functional teammates.

Industrious is emerging from COVID in a position of strength. We continue to grow, exceed sales goals as occupiers transition to flex offices, and have influential strategic backers. We have ambitious goals for the next 3-5 years, and need strong executors with a knack for vetting new opportunities and eliminating risks to help us get there.

About the Role:

We're looking for a Manager to join the Strategic Initiatives team. This person will contribute to the team and company goals both in partnership with the Director and as an independent initiative owner. The ideal candidate has an excellent execution track record and a demonstrated capacity for creative problem solving, critical thinking, and project management. They're organized and can win hearts and minds across Industrious, while still being authentic and objective driven. This is a full-time role based in any city with an Industrious location.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, analyze, and solve strategic challenges facing Industrious in a structured manner. Present these recommendations to Industrious executives to support decision making.
• Drive thought leadership related to our products, customers, and industry by leveraging data and insights both from internal stakeholders and external research.
• Execute initiatives from start to finish. Help define objectives and share ownership of outcomes with the Director.
• Coordinate across teams to achieve the above, owning cross-functional communication and alignment, ensuring access to the required tools and resources, identifying and mitigating risks, and prioritizing across many urgent and important competing priorities.

The ideal candidate has:

• 5+ years of professional experience in consulting, strategy, banking, real estate, or a start up
• MBA a plus, but not required
• A great strategic problem solving and project execution track record with experience taking ownership of recommendations and outcomes
• Strong strategic acumen, analytical skills, and communication skills
• A low ego team player, willing to do what's necessary to ensure we hit our goals
• Comfort working independently and tackling big, ambiguous problems and tasks
• Excitement for the coworking, real estate, hospitality, or proptech sectors
• You embody the Industrious values of head, hands and heart. You can execute against a goal and get results, but always make sure to show up for your colleagues and do right by your team
