SAP PP/QM Consultant

Our client is seeking an SAP PP/QM consultant to join their team! In this position, the SAP PP / QM Consultant is responsible for independently implementing processes specified together with their internal customers and Business Process Owners. In addition, the SAP PP/QM Consultant must ensure proper alignment of the processes against our clients SAP templates/applications as well as our clients global standards in Supply Chain Management.

• Must have experience with SAP PP/QM (VC)

PRIMARY DUTIES

• Develops the business application architecture from a global perspective to achieve the best possible solution for our client which results in a minimum of systems and a maximum of efficiency (analysis, conceptual design, evaluation of solution alternatives, functional testing)
• Acts as a proactive business partner, identifying/consulting process and IT innovations that speak to the client's business functions
• Implements group strategic business application projects
• Uses global standards to achieve simplicity, efficiency, and effectiveness
• Enables and motivates the business organization to use a maximum of global standard
• Manages support issues within a Global Service Delivery Organization as 3rd-Level
• Designs and re-engineering of PP/QM (VC) solutions aiming at optimizing business processes of our clients' companies
• Implements processes in SAP including customizing and documentation
• Consults and support of the business partners such as Global Process Owner and Key Users
• Organizes, prepares, and executes workshops with peers
• Independently manages tasks and work packages
• Takes responsibility for realizing agreed solutions in time and quality
• Manages external resources

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 5 years Business Consulting utilizing SAP PP/QM, within a manufacturing/industry environment
• Practical Experience/good working knowledge of SCM processes and standards
• Experience as a senior level consultant in SAP PP/QM
• Holistic view of business processes across SCM and MM/VC/SD/CO
• Experience in SAP VC and MM will be an advantage
• Technical skill/experience in data migrations using SAP LSMW and in ABAP debugging, writing program specifications
• Experience in project management (for sub-projects)
• Experience managing external resources
• Experience in international ERP rollouts (5-10 years)
• Experience in presenting, moderating, guiding in process workshops
• Experience in key-user trainings
