The University of Missouri's School of Medicine,?Department of Radiology, chaired by Dr. Talissa Altes, is searching for a fellowship-trained Body Imaging Radiologist to join our team. Our seasoned team creates an excellent opportunity for experienced candidates, as well as those just getting started, post-fellowship.

About MU Body Imaging

The University of Missouri Body Imaging Division specializes in imaging disorders of the abdomen and pelvis. Our areas of expertise include hepatobiliary, pancreas, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, intra- and perioperative imaging, oncologic imaging, non-invasive vascular imaging, contrast-enhanced ultrasound, dual-energy CT, CT colonography, CT/MR enterography, MR of the pelvic floor for pelvic floor dysfunction, multi-parametric prostate MRI, high-risk obstetrics and post-trauma imaging. In addition, we accept one fellow per year in?Body Imaging.

  • Number of available positions: 1
  • Join a department of 26 radiologists, 6 of which specialize in Body Imaging
  • Responsibilities are:
  • ~80% clinical
  • ~5% Teaching/education
  • ~15% Administration
  • State-of-the-art equipment, including high-end ultrasound systems, x-ray and fluoroscopy, dual-energy CT and 1.5 and 3 Tesla MR scanners.
  • We offer opportunities to assist in the department's growth, the education of students, residents, and fellows across eight radiology fellowship programs,?including a Body Imaging radiology fellowship, as well as research and scholarly activities.?
  • All ranks available, commensurate with experience
  • Non-tenure track

Qualifications:
  • MD/DO
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in radiology and fellowship-trained in Body Imaging radiology.
  • For the purposes of this application, board-certified/board-eligible physicians are considered experienced.
