Summary of Position
The NPD Project Coordinator will be responsible for organizing the development and design of new products. This involves monitoring project schedules, objectives and budgets while ensuring that project deadlines are met.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/FUNCTIONS
The NPD Project Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day tracking and guiding of on-going projects. This may include:
• Establishing and managing product quality expectations using product specifications. • Correspondence with the appropriate stakeholders (manufacturer, studio, department, etc.).
• Coordination of assets as outlined by established program, process or by special request. • Monitoring and updating project status to appropriate stakeholders (including the NPD Program Manager).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/FUNCTIONS
The NPD Project Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day tracking and guiding of on-going projects. This may include:
- Monitoring project goals and milestones based on the project schedule established with the studios.
- Establishing product specifications and coordinating with team members to ensure accurate product design and record keeping as required by established process.
• Establishing and managing product quality expectations using product specifications. • Correspondence with the appropriate stakeholders (manufacturer, studio, department, etc.).
• Coordination of assets as outlined by established program, process or by special request. • Monitoring and updating project status to appropriate stakeholders (including the NPD Program Manager).
- Monitoring of deliverables.
- Collaborate with team members in the creation of accurate quote requests, as well as the organization of supplier quotes.
- Update project budgets and prepare purchase orders.
- Additional duties as required by the project or assigned by management.
- Minimum of an Associate's degree in a related field of study (Business, Project Management, etc.).
- Minimum of one year of experience in Project Management/Coordination and/or a related field.
- Lean manufacturing, Continuous Improvement training and/or PMP certification preferred.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to create visual imagery/diagrams to explain feedback and intent to non-native English-speaking partners.
- Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple high priority projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, i.e. Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.
- Able to travel up to 10% of the time; sometimes with very little notice.
- Must be trustworthy with highly confidential information and materials.
- Must be able to use independent judgement and discretion.
