The Research, Strategy, and Enablement (RS&E) Team serves as the strategic arm to the US Firm's CLO and L&D leadership team, also providing support for all the L&D teams. RS&E is responsible for: * Implementing and maintaining the L&D Strategy to drive L&D, Talent, and business outcomes * Defining how we architect holistic and continuous learning solutions * Identifying innovative and effective design elements and enabling technologies across all modalities * Providing consultative support to L&D teams on designing impactful learning solutions * Defining required capabilities of our L&D professionals and enabling cross-L&D learning, knowledge-sharing, and collaboration * Telling our stories of innovation and impact to Deloitte stakeholders and to the industry The Work You'll Do As a Manager on the RS&E team, you work at the direction of the RS&E Leader and with RS&E team members to update and maintain our design process, optimize our learning modalities through innovative design elements and enabling technologies, define and cultivate capabilities for our L&D professionals, market L&D to Deloitte professionals, and tell our stories of innovation, value, and impact internally and externally - all focused on engaging and effective learning that addresses business needs and improves individual, team, and organizational performance. In this capacity, you manage and support cross-L&D project teams, provide consultative support to L&D teams, and collaborate with other stakeholders across Talent, IT, Talent Services, the businesses, USI, contractors, vendors, and Global, as well as with external L&D industry groups. L&D Design and Capabilities * Update and maintain the design process for all modalities, incorporating research, innovative practices, enabling technologies, and outcome and data-driven design and measurement, with a skills-based focus * Define and implement design elements and enabling technologies that optimize engagement and effectiveness for all modalities, with a focus on personalized learning-in-the-flow, and for the hybrid environment * Maintain the L&D technology roadmap and the process for assessments, pilots, selection, procurement, and implementation * Define and enable learning, knowledge-sharing, and collaboration for L&D professionals to drive skills-focused, personalized, and in-the-flow learning * Provide consultative support to L&D and program teams on solution design, adoption of enabling technologies, and measurement and analytics L&D Marketing and Communications * Drive the implementation and engagement of the L&D Strategy across L&D, Talent, and business stakeholders * Maintain the internal communications/marketing plan to drive engagement in L&D * Maintain the external eminence plan to sustain Deloitte's brand and reputation as the L&D leader in the field * Manage the L&D Strategy impact measurement approach, to capture and report on the initiatives' effectiveness and impact Other Responsibilities * Own and manage key working relationships with L&D leaders and across other stakeholder groups * Manage and support cross-L&D teams to execute upon project objectives while aligning work and roles to ensure optimal performance * Embrace and promote agility, proactiveness, responsiveness, curiosity, strategic thinking, collaboration, creative problem-solving, and change enablement * Lead, inspire, and coach team members, fostering individual and team growth through delegation, feedback, instruction, and encouragement-building on strengths and developing areas for improvement * Coach and mentor team members through established 1:1 check-ins and other development mechanisms * Complete and submit 360* professional development and performance review documentation * Cultivate an inclusive, high-performing team that maximizes team member contribution by creating an environment of mutual support and shared responsibility * Provide support and other administrative duties for direct reports * Utilize employee engagement tactics to encourage employees to become productive and high-performing and to enjoy their work Qualifications Required: * Bachelor's Degree; Minimum 8 years of related experience * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multiple projects environment * Strategic and critical thinking skills to identify interdependencies between issues, data, and outcomes * Project management experience with multiple, concurrent, and complex work streams * Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships, manage stakeholders, and influence, collaborate, and build consensus * Strong analytical skills and ability to identify and present data-driven insights and trends * Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly and succinctly present ideas and insights * Proficient Microsoft Office skills * Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future * Travel up to 20% (While 20% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)
