The Boeing Company is currently seeking multiple Experienced Software Engineer's to join the Boeing Research and Development (BR&T) Cyber Security and Network Technology Capability Technology Team located in either location: Saint Louis MO, Huntington Beach CA, Hazelwood MO or Huntsville AL.

Position Responsibilities:

Software development subject matter expert

Work closely with other engineers to develop wireless network protocols

Provide technical expertise for activities related to the development of virtual machines, emulations, models, and distributed networking and communication protocols for critical applications in tactical, dynamic or mobile environments

Support Lab/Virtual Machine (VM) environment

Develops, documents and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems.

Develops and maintains code and integrates software components into a fully functional software system.

Serves as a subject matter expert for software domains, system-specific issues, processes and regulations

Be able to work independently or as part as a team

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate may be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)

Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

1+ years of experience with debugging and/or developing with C, C++, or Python

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience working in an Agile software development environment

Experience with networking protocols and architecture

Experience in Git, Jira and with software development in multiple environments

Experience with DevOps techniques

Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Relocation:
