WHAT YOU WILL DO:

As an educator with Phalen Leadership Academies (PLA), you are considered a guardian to our students (whom we refer to as scholars). Therefore, as our Special Education Aide, you must provideinstructionalsupport to ensure students make meaningful progress toward reaching their full potential as learners. The Special Education Aide continually helps to observe and inform the evaluation of students at a group and individual level. You will also build trust and community in theclassroom via clear and timely communication with both your scholars and teacher.

At PLA we have created a blended-learning model that is specifically designed to raise achievement for historically underserved scholars. So we support your creativity and wholeheartedly encourage a rigorous, personalized, and well-rounded educational experience to meet the unique needs of each scholar in your classroom.

LOCATION: Greater Heights Academy, Flint MI

DO YOU HAVE:

• A valid instructional aide license OR
• At least a minimum of 1-2 years of experience supporting students in a classroom environment

• An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
