Job Title Toddler Assistant Teacher
Responsibilities:
As an Assistant Teacher, your responsibilities include, and are not limited to:
? Assisting and participating in routines such as snacks, dressing, toileting and clean up.
? Maintaining a safe, loving and nurturing environment.
? Properly caring for equipment and materials and teaches children to do the same.
? Treating all children with dignity and respect and allowing for individual differences.
? Applying discipline with love, respect, firmness and consistency. Expecting the best from each child by encouraging acceptable behavior and manners through positive reinforcement.
Education/Experience:
Qualified applicants must be MN Rule 3 Assistant Teacher qualified. We will be happy to work with you to determine if your education/experience combination is satisfactory for this position! Many educational backgrounds qualify you as an Assistant Teacher, and training will be provided to make sure that you are fully equipped for your role in our classroom. First Aid & CPR training is also required (can be obtained within 90 days of hire).
Schedule
Full Time Monday to Friday - Start date TBD
Training
Full training on site & online
Compensation
Hourly compensation during trial period (one month) and then salaried with benefits.?
