We're seeking a professional learning strategist with an instructional design and science teaching background with a proven track record of leading impactful professional development experiences to support 3-dimensional science instruction. This position is part of the BrainPOP Educators team, supporting our professional learning services, reporting to the Vice President of Professional Learning. In this role, you will design and lead professional learning experiences for teachers illustrating how BrainPOP Science addresses new science standards that shift approaches to teaching and learning. In this role, you will: Empower teachers to use BrainPOP Science by leveraging its resources in ways that seamlessly and explicitly address the science curriculum and/or standards. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop content. Lead live Professional Development sessions in both remote and in-person settings. Implement and lead subscribers toward achieving the promises of BrainPOP Science. Be responsible for collaborating to develop the following content: Slideshow decks and scripts for webinars Online activities and lessons Tutorial videos for "bite size" teaching and learning support. Additional content to meet future strategy. You are: Deeply knowledgeable about the Next Generation Science Standards, Phenomena-based learning and the Claim Evidence Reasoning Model process. An excellent communicator, including verbal and written. Attentive to detail. Empathic to the needs of students and teachers. Fluent in professional learning best practices, both online and in person. Able to meet critical deadlines on a tight schedule On Your Resume Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Sciences or related fields 3-5 years experience in science education or professional learning.
