Job Description OMDC Consultant Downstream American Downstream Consulting - Consultant Summary The Consultant position in Oil , Midstream, Downstream, and Chemicals (OMDC) North American consulting group will be responsible for conducting research and supporting consulting project research teams in downstream oil in biofuels. You'll be able to build strong relationships with colleagues through working on consulting project teams: conducting research on complex refining, refined product markets, biofuels and feedstock markets, and policy. You must have a basic understanding of commodity markets including refined products and biofuels. You will work with our colleagues, members of other research groups such as agriculture, chemicals and automotive and the European , Middle East, and Asia OMDC consulting groups. You will work with existing models that are used for analysis and create new excel based models to accomplish consulting projects. What will you be doing? + Research in North America downstream and biofuels industry and markets to support consulting projects + Maintain existing models and databases and develop new tools as needed + Work with colleagues in our EU , Middle East, and Asia downstream and biofuels consulting groups + Work with research colleagues to utilize the latest market fundamental analysis and to provide the research group with the results of recent relevant consulting work + Work with colleagues from other research groups as part of consulting teams such as agriculture, automotive, chemicals, and others + Interact with consulting clients over the course of projects to better understand the client's input and respond accordingly What are we looking for? + 3 - 5 years + directly related experience acquired by working for consulting firms, government, or industry + Bachelor's degree is required. Degree in economics, statistics, engineering or industry related fields. Graduate degree is preferred.
