Today, worldwide more than 7,200 employees are working on this permanent challenge, at over 70 locations on all continents.The role for Market Manager MRMS will be responsible for supporting the Americas and Global commercial team in promoting MRMS workflows and for upholding customer satisfaction by ensuring customer needs are met. The individual will be accountable for reporting to the Business Unit Manager the changing market trends, external drivers, and competitive landscape within the MRMS market, in addition to driving the continuously improvement of Bruker MS solutions based on customer challenges and needs. Travel will be required for pre-and post-sales activities, collaborative opportunities, market development, and visiting other Bruker labs worldwide.The candidate should be advanced in the technology of FTICR/FTMS and should be able to apply this knowledge to applications in the fields of metabolomics and MALDI imaging and work with KOLs to develop novel workflows that require isotopic fine structure.

Responsibilities: Create growth opportunities for MRMS in the fields of metabolomics, MALDI imaging and other applicable fields. Work with regional commercial management to identify opportunities, nurture leads and gather market relevant input and intelligence to flow into strategic planning for the business and associated instrumentation. Provide quarterly updates concerning lost orders, opportunities status and pipeline health, and relevant forecast information. Create and manage external commercial collaborations to fill gaps in internal technical capabilities, address unmet customer pain points, deploy software or product solutions, and support related campaigns. Execute global, regional, and local campaigns coordinate (with relevant market managers or product managers) to highlight KOLs and reference sites to the greater market. Provide input to applications and software development groups and provide market relevant feedback to R and management for prioritization of development efforts to fulfil unmet market needs.

Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of related experience with a PhD with a focus on FTICR/FTMS technology and/or applications. The ability to function and manage projects with widely distributed resources is essential Acute goal related time management for vital projects and reports is necessary Keen decision making through careful evaluation of remote projects and data submitted by collaborative labs for project direction is crucial Excellent written and oral communications skills in the English language Self-motivation, and a willingness to work with others toward a shared goal in a sales-driven organization Ability to interact with customers and in-house staff, with varying levels of knowledge and technical expertise Ability to prioritize in a rapidly changing commercial environmentEducation and/or Experience: Ph.D. in Biological Sciences/Analytical Chemistry or closely related field with strong experience in the field of Metabolomics. Experience on Bruker MS platforms desired. Keen acumen for resource and time management within a small group. Excellent written and oral communications skills.Computer Skills: Proficiency with relevant Bruker software and third party software used to analyze and conduct MALDI imaging and Metabolomics experiments. Other Skills and Abilities: Ability and willingness to travel as travel is required both domestic and international.Other Qualifications: The ability to function and manage projects with widely distributed resources is essential. Excellent ability and willingness to communicate and closely interact with our international customers.
