Job Specifications:

Minimum Qualifications | Education/Experience:

• Currently attending a college or university and working toward achieving an AA/AS or BA/BS including laboratory coursework in biology, chemistry or related field.

• Training in the operation of lab equipment and use of lab chemicals and tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Zero to one years of experience.

• Ability to follow detailed instructions, maintain accurate records and notes, and carry out assignments in a thorough, conscientious fashion while adhering to safe laboratory practices.

• Knowledge of a variety of lab equipment and their operation is preferred.

Job Requirements:
  • • Carry out tasks in support of experimentation and laboratory activities as directed by senior staff.

    • Operate laboratory equipment safely, as trained and directed, in accordance with established practices.

    • Obtain and stock laboratory supplies as directed.

    • Clean laboratory area, equipment and glassware as necessary.

    • Perform routine equipment maintenance and minor repair.

    • Maintain records and notebooks as directed in an accurate, thorough manner.

    • Carry out functions which may require multiple task coordination.

    • Utilize various computer software programs as needed.

    • Carry out functions which may require multiple task coordination.

    • Knowledgeable of federal and other regulations, e.g. QSR's, ISO, ISO 13485, CMDR

    • Other responsibilities as assigned.

    • Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal/external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company's policies and practices.

    • Understands and is aware of the quality consequences which may occur from the improper performance of their specific job; has awareness of device defects that may occur in their area of responsibility, including product design, verification and validation, manufacturing and testing activities

    • Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal/external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company's policies and practices; build productive internal/external working relationships

    • Carries out duties in compliance with established business policies

    • Other duties as assigned, according to the changing needs of the business
