Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective and strategic analytical solutions to enable data driven decisions
  • Evaluate and present information in a manner that will facilitate clients understanding of the results and impacts
  • Manage relationships with key business partners of across marketing/sales groups
  • Lead a team of data scientists who build and maintain models and analysis for major corporate initiatives
  • Build/review complex models, and deliver insights to clients
  • Develop, implement, enhance, maintain existing models
  • Self-motivated professional who can manage team effectively
  • Strong data science and/or data engineering acumen
  • Effective interpersonal influence and collaboration skills with internal stakeholders
  • Solid communication skills and experience working across many levels of an organization
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively gather requirements, probe for deeper understanding, and translate deep technical concepts to non-technical as well as technical senior stakeholders, marketing customers, and data scientists

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or similar field
  • 5+ years of experience utilizing SQL, Python/R
  • 5+ years of experience performing advanced analytical modeling
  • 2+ years of management experience of either onshore or offshore analysts
  • Proficient user skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado, Connecticut and/or Nevada residents is $94,500 to $171,700. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
