The Consultant will be involved in a variety of projects, with a primary focus on biotechnology and environmental compliance with local, state and Federal requirements, including those associated with hazardous materials management, chemical inventory, water, wastewater, solid waste, hazardous waste, chemical storage, and air emissions. The ideal candidate will have: * A successful track record of providing service excellence and client satisfaction * A strong understanding of applicability, determination, planning, registration, permitting, monitoring, reporting, etc. * Experience conducting property transaction Due Diligence, (e.g. Phase I/II) * Experience with Air, Water (e.g. storm water and wastewater), CERCLA/Superfund, Health and Safety regulations, Management systems (e.g. ISO 14001 and 45001) gap assessment, program development, etc. Environmental Consultant Essential Responsibilities: * Support the surrounding area client base, including consulting and compliance services * Work collaboratively with peers, managers, and clients in a dynamic environment * Conduct and manage chemical inventories as needed in support of the on-going projects * Achieve client expectations for scope, budget, schedule, and quality * Support client relationships that generate repeat business * Required areas of consulting experience include: HMBP and CERS Education/Qualifications: * BS/MS in environmental/civil/chemical engineering, sustainability, environmental studies, or related science degree * 5-7 years of environmental consulting/compliance experience * Biotechnology experience a plus * Proven track record in successful project execution and client satisfaction * Solid grasp of technical aspects and project management What we offer: BSI offers a competitive salary, group-sponsored health and dental, short-term and long-term disability, a company-matched 401k plan, company paid life insurance, 11 paid holidays and 4 weeks paid time off.
