Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of research experience Or Master's degree with 1+ years of research experience.
- Implementing animal models of pathogenic infections in rodents.
- Prior experience with designing & implementing murine animal models of viral infection and/or vaccination (including dosing, blood/tissue collection, animal handling, animal welfare monitoring etc.)
- In vivo skills, including surgical and non-surgical, pk/pd, immunogenicity and efficacy testing.
- Demonstrated ability to work with infectious agents.
Responsibilities:
- We are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated pre-clinical biologist to participate in discovery research in the Infectious Diseases and Vaccines group.
- Client is at the forefront of the exciting, fast-paced field of discovering and developing new anti-infective agents.
- The candidate for this position should have a demonstrated experience in the fields of microbiology, virology, immunology, or vaccinology, especially concerning in vivo testing and animal model development.
- In addition, an ideal candidate will have proven laboratory and leadership skills, demonstrated independence in experimental design and execution and excellent communication skills.
- Implementing animal models of pathogenic infections in rodents.
- Proficiency in preparation and dosing of agents via multiple routes of administration (including but not limited to IM, PO, IP, SC, IN, and IV).
- Proficiency in sampling of blood and harvesting of tissues.
