We are looking for a research associate to join our interdisciplinary team. The candidate is expected to learn quickly and communicate well, especially in a fast-paced startup environment. The candidate will support our immunology team and be part of an exciting journey. Responsibilities
- Basic understanding of immunology, cancer biology, biomarkers, cell sorting, and DNA/RNA sequencing.
- Follow protocols to prepare reagents and carry out biology experiments
- Handle human cells, and use specialized equipment such as FACS to process cells.
- Work with and support senior scientists to ensure experiments are running with precision and on time
- Willingness to take on other tasks as needed in a biotech startup environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Chemistry, or a related field of study
- 2-5 years of biotech laboratory research, operation and technicians experience, especially in supporting more experienced scientists.
- Experience in managing biological materials/wastes
- Detail oriented, excellent organization skills and interpersonal communication skills
