Environmental Health and Safety Manager

Fortune 500 manufacturing leader is searching for an Environmental Health and Safety Manager for 2 sites in the Los Angeles area. Ideal candidate will have California experience and overall EHS background. Position will have 3 direct reports and will report to the Manufacturing Leader and indirectly to the Regional EHS Manager. BS Safety, Sciences, Engineering or related is required. Must have a minimum 5-10 years of leading an EHS program in a manufacturing setting. Excellent base, bonus, and benefits. Job Requirements:

• Provide environmental, health and safety training
• Perform safety/environmental audits of the plant
• Monitor environmental health and safety performance metrics
• Provide all health, safety and environmental regulatory reporting
• Prepare health, safety and environmental budget
• Promote health, safety and environmental topics
• Make environmental, health and safety recommendationsaccordingly
• Make environmental, health and safety recommendations
• Participate in management health, safety and environmental audits
• Lead safety, health and environmental training sessions
• Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations
• Develop training programs on safety and environmental issues
• Correct and manage environmental/safety incidents
• Verify compliance with all applicable environmental health and safety government regulations
• Develop annual company safety and environmental health goals
• Carry out environmental, health and safety activities
• Implement environmental and safety programs to ensure facility compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Support compliance manager with environmental procedures
• Implementing environmental, health, and safety programs and performing compliance audits
• Manage various environmental and safety audits and inspections
